The professional doctorate in Applied Finance, delivered by the University of Geneva and managed by the GIWM Foundation, recently underwent an evaluation by a team of international experts in the field. This evaluation brought to light the high quality of the program and the strong relevance of this new offering.

Following the completion of the evaluation, the University of Geneva has decided to enshrine the “Doctorate of Professional Advanced Studies” in its statutes and to open the title to all disciplines. This decision is endorsed by the State Council of Geneva.

The official recognition of the professional doctorate title in Switzerland is the cowning achievement of the pilot project launched in 2017. Moreoever, the very positive review of the exernal expertise serves as a proof of the success of our high-level executive education offering.
