GIWM celebrates the milestone of +100 graduates of the Professional Doctorate in Applied Finance
24 August 2022Five years have passed since the Geneva Institute For Wealth Management (GIWM) was established and we are delighted to be celebrating a solid start at promoting post-graduate education, executive education, research and knowledge transfer in wealth management. Thanks to the support of its collaborators and partners, GIWM can already point to many successes.
In terms of education, GIWM supported the University of Geneva in the launch a pioneering professional doctorate degree in Switzerland. Some 450 high-profile professionals benefited from the executive education specialised in wealth management since 2016. GIWM will continue and expand its offering of unique, innovative and high-quality programs that fill the need for professionals to acquire a solid academic training in wealth management.
In terms of research, GIWM has been equally prolific. Over the past five years, some 25 post-graduate fellowships and research projects were supported by the GIWM. In addition, a successful conference on recent trends in wealth management drew both academics and practitioners together. We look forward to more events like this in the years to come and we are convinced that GIWM will play a significant role by becoming an exchange platform the field, with the aim of transferring academic knowledge, advancing professional practice and fostering international collaborations.
